Ernesto is the ideal father,
intransigent but fair. One day, he takes his son, Fito, to the
country to share a fishing
weekend with him. When the freezing night comes, looking for
shelter, Ernesto decides to take Fito to the only house in
the area. Inside the house they find a group of teenagers having a
weird party. Ernesto doesn’t like the idea of spending the
night at this place but he has no option. The next morning,
Ernesto finds out that his son is missing. He will do anything
possible to find Fito and these teenagers
will be punished.
After seventy days shooting ZONA MUTANTE, third feature film of
Farsa Prod, the crew decided to take a break and took
advantage of that period to make an experiment -one that director
Roger Corman had done years before-: is it possible to
make a feature film in three days? Based on this, the members of
Farsa Prod developed a project and faced the challenge.
After three exhausting days, they proved that they had fulfilled
their expectations and with good results.
NUNCA ASISTAS A ESTE TIPO DE FIESTAS is the second feature film of
Farsa Prod. The movie opened during the movie
event called “EL INDEPENDIENTE” (The Independent) at the HOYTS
GENERAL CINEMA ABASTO in Buenos Aires and the theater
was so crowded that more than 300 people had to stay outside. In
2001 it was showed at Spanish festivals such as SITGES,
TOLEDO and MOSTRA DE VALENCIA, and also at the SOBRAS FILM
FESTIVAL of Chile and at the moviegoer event called
BUENOS AIRES ROJO SANGRE. It was released in video and DVD in
Spain.
